Back to School Journal Pages with Art Anthology

Art_Anthology_Kitsnbitscraps_Journal_Art_Pages

I love to read! I read at least one book per week so in honor of Back to School I created these two journal pages using Art Anthology.  For more photos of my journal I am being featured over at Art Anthology Blog so go check it out.

I used school themed paper and Art Anthology velvets to make my background and just started layering from there.  I added a hand cut banner out of paper and canvas because it reminds of school.

I also used stencils, rub-ons and coloration sprays.

Thank you for stopping by ... I hope I have inspired you to try some Art Anthology paints.

Taking Notes with Leaky Shed Studio

Hello, its Back to School!  So much to do, so many lists!  I am definitely a note taker.  Yes I know I have an iphone but I still make "To Do" lists.

So I made a back to school themed clipboard using Leaky Shed Studio.

Here is the back of my clipboard.  Because, Yes! you do need to make it pretty all the way around.

Please head on over to Leaky Shed Studio Blog to see more photos of my project.  This was an easy, and quick project and it makes note taking a lot more fun. Also this would make a great gift for your child's teacher :)

Thank you for stopping by, happy scrapping ...

Pumpkin Patch and Tilly's Tabs

Its my turn to be featured over at the Basically Bare Blog.  I posted a really cute Pumpkin Patch album using Basically Bare's Tilly's Tab album.

I love tabs because I can use different words and/or embellishments on the tabs.

One of the fun things about using this album is that it has an envelope page.  I love these envelopes for hidden journaling or extra photos.

I sprayed Art Anthology color spray on my pages for a vintage look.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy going to your local pumpkin patch and take plenty of photos.

Be sure to go visit my post over at Basically Bare - I have posted more pictures of the Pumpkin Patch Tilly's Tab album there.

Happy Scrapping ...

Some FALL Inspiration

Thought I would share this envelope album I made, hoping to give you some Fall inspiration.

Alot of the embellies I used were from WeRMemory Keepers, but the paper was a mish mash of what I had in my stash.  I love it when I can use up what I have :)

Happy Scrapping and thank you for stopping by

Day 4 of Christmas Blog Hop

Happy Christmas Blog Hop DAY FOUR!

After you:

1.  Become a follower
2.  Leave me a comment

Don't forget to go over to Bea's blog and see what she has to inspire you.  Hope you like my inspiration album for today.

For Day Four I thought I would make it pretty in pink.  Christmas doesn’t always have to be just red and green.  Christmas can be pink!!

This album is made with catalog envelopes.  The binding is canvas but this time I decided to sew buttons on the canvas before wrapping it around my album.

I also added eyelets to the center of the binding before wrapping

For my tag tabs I chose to adhere these pretty poinsettias; I think they look great the way they cascade and the color gives so much interest to the album.

Notice the 2 smaller tags with the bottle cap tabs.  They go into extra pockets I made on these pages.

I added a coin envelope to the page so that it creates another panel plus a pocket.

Also when adhering two envelope pages together; I folded over the envelope instead of cutting it short so that I could get another panel.  Then I glued the two 3 inch panels together and got an extra “short” page.

I love adding lots of embellishments.  It always makes my albums real chunky, but I can't help myself.  I love embellies!

For those of you that just tuned in to Bea's and my blog hop we are giving way blog candy at the end of our 25 Days of Christmas Blog Hop.  I will be giving away an album so please leave a comment and follow me :)

I think for Day 5 I will make a couple of tags.  I was looking at Tim Holtz 12 Days of Christmas Tags and he has inspired me to make some tags.

Thank you for playing along with us and I will see you for Day 5!!

HIPPITY HOPPITY - Easter is around the corner

I am back to teaching classes after a mini break during the holidays.  I have several classes scheduled in March.  Here is a class that I am teaching in Miami using the new WeR Memory Keepers Hippity Hoppity collection.

I used the above papers from the collection and added some paper piecings. So check back to see when this class will be schedule in March !

I still have to add some finishing touches on the LO, but thought I would share for now.
