Pumpkin Patch with Reminisce LAYOUT

Finished the 2nd page of my Layout using the Reminisce Autumn Forest collection.  I always do two-page layout, I know that a lot of people dont but I am so neurotic that everything has to match and it would make me crazy to open up my album to a page and not have both sides match.  I know I have my quirks, but alas the world would be very dull if everyone was the same.

Pumpkin Patch with Reminisce

Thought I would show what I did with the Reminisce Autumn Forest line.  This is one side only, still working on my 2nd page.  I also added a cute pumpkin paper piecing and some florals.   I also used primas and petaloo.

Vintage Christmas Tree Shaped Album

Just posted this cute album - Its a Vintage Tree I have been feeling very traditional this Holiday Season.  A lot has been going on this past month, I have been taking care of an old family friend who is very sick.  She and my mom were friends, and I am the only one she knows here in Florida.  I think its brought back some childhood memories for me with my family and when we were kids .... anywho I guess it is making me nostalgic. 

I used darker traditional red and green and added a lot of poinsettias and some florals.  I distressed the edges and added some pockets.  Hope you like it.

Happy Thanksgiving

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.  I will be enjoying my time with my family and being very grateful that they are all happy and healthy.

As a little treat I am posting this sneak peak of what I am currently working on.

Bring in the Holidays with Glitz and Glam Cards

Finished my cards for the Scrapbook Place.  We will be having a monthly card club and this class is being taught December 12th.

You get four cards, a gift bag, and a wood mounted stampendous stamp.  I will be using smooches, and copics to teach you the how to's and the cards will be stamped with 3 very cute stamps from stampendous.  I also used Reminisce paper to makes these oh so shiney cards and some coordinations cardstock

Been working on some Christmas cards to teach over at Scrapbook Place this past week.  Here is a sneak peek of one of the cards.  I used Reminisce, Coordinations cardstock, May Arts ribbon, Tsukineko and Stampendous.

Tis' The Season Mitten Shaped Album

Just finished making this cute MITTEN SHAPED ALBUM.  I tried to give this album a vintage old fashion christmas feel, let me know what you think.  I did have fun making this mini album which is made of chipboard.  I distressed each page and then put a coat of white wash on the edges of the chipboard album.

Be sure to be on the look out for what Daphna did with her mitten shaped album  "Snow Mitten".  We thought it would be cool to have us both make a shaped album so that you get two different styles to give you some inspiration.

Winter Wonderland

I made this cute tag album using the 7 Gypsies chipboard album.  I used a kit that I put together last year to sell with directions.  But since I get bored very easily of course I ADDED A TON more bling and embellished and changed around some of the pages.  I only have two more kits left of this winter tag book kit on etsy.  So do what I do make the kit then go back and ADD more bling, buttons, or 3D winter embellies that you have laying around.

Christmas at Scrapbook Place

The Scrapbook Place is gearing up for Christmas!!  My talented sister Idette is teaching a class there on 11/21 so if you live in the area go check it out.  Idette has made an adorable Christmas Present Album that is very embellished and has an elegant feel to it.

Idette added so many extra touches to make this album beautiful.  You have to go and see it in person, and take the Class !!!

Happy Holidays are Here

Well it is that time of year when you start seeing all the commercials for Christmas.  I always start feeling a little excited and mentally start making my lists of what to buy for whom.  I also start looking around for christmas card ideas; this year I am using Alvin & Company -  Irene's Garden poinsettias.  Every year I "plan" on making my own cards and start off great .... then time gets in the way and I only make half of what I had planned.

The design group I belong to PFOP is giving me the extra push I needed, we are having a card challenge on ebay.  So yeah - I have started to make holiday cards.

This is what I just posted for auction.  A handmade sewn card with gift bag set.  I used basic grey, lots of ribbon, Irene's garden poinsettias, and jewels.

Thank you everyone for your comments.  I plan on more blog candy coming up for December.  Santa is busy collecting goodies as we speak (or write).  Also I am getting busy with lots of new projects for the holidays so keep a look out for those too.

Autumn Leaf Tags on Ebay

I made some stamped leaf tags for Autumn using American Tag Co..  I thought that for those of you that are invited for dinner for the holidays and are bringing goodies to your hostess can add this pretty "Thanks" tag to your item.  These tags would also look nice tied to your cutlery/napkin ring to dress up your holiday dinner table.

I embellished the tags with lots of ribbon, metal charms and chipboard buttons.  I also distressed my tags, then added 3 colors of Glimmer Mist to them before stamping them with my leaf image.  The leaf image was stamped both in Tsukineko Encore metallic gold and in Memories black dye ink from Stewart Superior.

FALL Cards

This is a sneak peak of one of the cards I made for fall.  I used Marks Paper Co. for my base pattern and Stampendous stamps and class-a-peels along with May Arts Ribbon of course.  I can't leave the ribbon off of anything.

Be on the look out for more card sneak peaks.  Now that the Holidays are approaching - its time to start making those cards.

Halloween Gate Fold Album

Been working on this Glimmer Glass Album by Tattered Angels.  The one I am using is the garden journal.  It is a really cool gate fold album with the clear "gates" in the front to make it extra spooky.  I used the new halloween glimmer mist colors, stamps and stencils.  I especially liked the jack o lantern mist and the pumpkin screens and stamps.  The spider in the sets really freaked me out because I hate spiders, but since it is a halloween album I felt it added the extra eek factor.

Here are a few of the pics.  For the cover of the album; I used a gold leaf pen along with the glimmer mist.

Nikki Sivils Guest Designer @ Paper Niche

Nikki Sivils was at the Paper Niche on Saturday 10/10 and we all had a blast with her.  She is the sweetest person, soft spoken and funny.  We all had lots of opportunity to take pictures with her and she signed some autographs for the class participants and customers that were there.


Nikki taught a really cute make-n-take and also an awesome class using her Victoria Street collection.  Everyone loved their adorable home mini album that they did with Nikki and were thrilled to be there.
 
I was lucky enough to spend some time with her - We went to the beach so Nikki could see our side of the states and then we went and had lunch together before going over to the Paper Niche.

Scary Halloween

I just posted this Halloween Skull Album on ebay.  I used chipboard to shape the album, then I painted it black and sprayed glimmer mist on it.  It was fun to make, I tend to like the fall colors so I had a good time making this album.
