Great Weekend Event with Fancy Pants!!

We had such a good time this weekend at Paper Niche.  Dan the Man alias Mr. Fancy Pants was a blast.  The class was awesome and I got to visit with friends.  It can't get any better than that :)

More with Paper Niche Monthly Kit

Paper Niche just received some new Accucuts and I couldnt wait to make some shaped mini's.

Here is what I made for the April Paper Niche Monthly Kit.

We were given lots of BoBunny Gabrielle and some Prima Botanical mixed in with a couple of other electic paper.

This is one of my projects I did for the PN Kit.

Also wanted to remind the locals in S. Florida that FANCY PANTS DESIGNS is coming to the Paper Niche.  There are a few spots left to sign up for a FREE CLASS!!

I also wanted to remind the locals that the Paper Niche won the drawing at CHA to have Fancy Pants Designs come to the store!!  Mr. Fancy Pants will be coming April 15 & 16.  Make-N-Takes and a Crop on friday and 2 sessions on Saturday for a FREE layout.  Spaces are limited so sign up at the Niche!!

Paper Niche April Kit Revealed!!

I wanted to show you a layout I did with this month's kit from the Paper Niche

This is a photo of my girlfriend Lisa and I at the Paper Niche playing with colors (copics).  We always have a silly time together, well mostly I am the silly one, but she puts up with me :)

We received (as usual) lots of product including the beautiful BoBunny Gabrielle collection.  I just love those butterflys!!! 

Gine our DT coordinator also put in some chipboard diecuts!! I love playing with chipboard.  You have to check out the Niche if you live in the area they have an AMAZING collection of accucut dies!!!  I painted the above chipboard leaves, then I used a roller-doodle I had from glitz to give it some interest.  Finally I used glossy accents to brighten up the color.

We also received a pack of the PRIMA canvas alphas.  I love the extra dimension and texture that these alphas give a page.

I've been wanting to make this bird cage album for a long time and finally got around to making it.  I am just going to post a couple of pics for now because I have not finished editing the photos ....

APRIL Monthly Kit from the PAPER NICHE

Just a little sneak peak for you today.  This month's kit has once again amazed me.  This kit is filled with lots of really cool embellies and beautiful paper.  I have something different up my sleeve for this month but you will have to wait till the full reveal.

SiNG Chipboard Album

Finished the SING album .....   here are some pics

I used lots of different techniques on this album and it was alot of fun!!!  The entire album is made of sturdy thick chipboard which has been painted.  For more details and pics click here:  SING

I made the album with an electic assortment that I had left over from my PAPER NICHE Monthly Kit.  I added my standard buttons, ribbons, brads and fiber which is a must have for me.

SING Chipboard Mini Album

I have been so busy lately but wanted to show you at least some pics of my newest album that I am working on.  I used my Paper Niche March Kit and just added a few things like charms.  We received a prima canvas heart from the donna downey line which I was thrilled about.  I used a mask and glimmer mist from tattered angles, then I stamped it with the kaiser music notes stamp that was in my kit.  To fiinish I used acrylic paint to outline some of the negative image and then used distress ink around the edges.

The cover.  The canvas heart is secured on 3 sides so that it forms a pocket for my tag.

This is one of the pages.  All my mattes are doubled matted and sewn

Some of this thick maroon colored jute fiber was in my kit so I just glued some in a circle to create a nest, then I added some pearls inside for the eggs.

MORE MORE MARCH KIT!!

Soooooo...... I already said how L O A D E D the March Kit from the Paper Niche was right?  Well I still have tons of product left even after I finish my mini book (yeah!!).  I hope to finish the mini book this week.  I will post those pictures soon.

MARCH KIT @ PaPer NiCHe is REVEALED!

So the March Kit is ready at the Paper Niche.  Some of the design team members are already giving you their full reveals.  I am still working on a couple more projects with my kit but here is one project that I did.  More to come ....
