New Card Class with Fancy Pants

We will be making Four Cards with the Fancy Pants "Beach Bum" line.  Come take the class with me at the Paper Niche on July 27th from 11-1.  We will stamp on canvas and make our own flowers.

BEAUTIFUL

Here are some of the pictures of the album that I titled "Beautiful" using the Paper Niche July Monthly Kit. 

I used my monthly kit and I added cardstock, handmade flowers, handmade leaves, felt, stamps and canvas.

These pages were made with mostly "it's the little things" from fancy pants.

Chipboard letters from "Maya Road" were painted and then coated with Glossy Accents.  The title of the pages "Who is walking who" because it looks obvious in the photo that the dog is actually walking my daughter rather than the other way around. 

I was also able to make a mini album which I will take pictures of and show after the 4th - Have a happy and safe 4th of July!!

JULY SNEAK PEEK

Hi!  Its that time again for me to give you some sneak peeks of my PAPER NICHE Monthly July Kit.  This month's kit was loaded with 7 gypsies, fancy pants,glitz and pink paislee.  I was just talking to Gine today (she is the DT coordinator) and telling her that I used alot of black in my designs this month which is TOTALLY NOT like me.  I always have alot of color even if I distress it to make it more shabby.  But guess what?  I loved how my designs came out using the black?  Who woulda thunk it?   That is what I love about receiving monthly kits, and yes, I know I've said this before but .....  Monthly kits really challenge you and make you think outside your comfort zone.

So without further rambling ....

New Photo Shoot

Just had to show some new photos of my baby girl (well OK, she isnt really a baby but.... she is still my baby). 

Vanessa is a makeup artist in our home town in S. Cali.   Vanessa was asked by her photographer girl friend Marie to do a photo shoot to help with Marie's portfolio.  Well, in the past, Vanessa has also needed make up models to showcase in her portofolio -  so she returned the favor and became Marie's model.

Celebrate Your Happiness

I made a youtube video of my chipboard and acrylic birdhouse album.  I used all Webster's Pages "Garden Gala".  I originally made this album for our NSD celebration at the Paper Niche.

SMASHED AT THE NICHE

I am getting "Smashed" at the Paper Niche!!  I am going to show you some things that I am pulling out (from various drawers and boxes) and starting to collect for when I am ready to get SMASHED.  The Paper Niche is bringing in all the smashed collection and I will be doing my own personal smash journal titled "The Story of Us." 

 

I will show you other bits and pieces that I am collecting during the next week, then I will put it all together in my smash journal and make a video!!  Sounds like fun right?  I am very excited about this new project.  More to come ....  stayed tuned :)  Happy Crafting.

PARIS with Love

This is my final project for the JUNE MONTHLY Kit I received from Paper Niche.  I have been wanting to make an album for my daughter using the Maya Road canvas album (not included in kit) and I had the perfect 7 gypsies paper in my June Kit so I finally finished Vanessa's travel album.  Hope you enjoy.

I had the perfect stamp from "art impressions" that I used on the canvas cover

Of course I had to use screens and glimmer mist

I received great travel rub-ons from Kaiser Kraft  in my kit

Vanessa had mementos from her trip so I added black tags to attach her tickets stubs etc.

The kit also had the new Fancy Pants "filters" which I stamped and glimmer misted

REVEAL!! JUNE KIT

Thought I would show you the double page layout I made with this month's Paper Niche Monthly Kit.

I used the "daily junque" collection from Pink Paislee/House of three.  I loved using this line, it was alot of fun to make.  I also used some pretty yellow printed tissue paper.  From my kit I also added some embellies and I used the Fancy Pants "filters" that came with the kit. 

If you like being challenged - definately need to buy this kit!!!  More reveals to come from the girls on the design team.  Also I made alot more projects with this kit that I will reveal later in the week.  These kits come loaded!!!

Paper Niche June Kit

Its time for my sneakie peeks of the Paper Niche June Kit.  As always this kit is loaded with all sorts of embellishments and paper.  What I have come to love about these kits is the fact that there is always either paper or embellishments that I would not normally buy.  I love that these kits get me out of my comfort zone and thinking outside the box!!!  These kits challenge my imagination and I believe makes me more creative.

As you can see we received some wood scrolls, love the way these scrolls give your pages texture.

Love the rub-on quotes we received.  Perfect for your title and/or journaling.

 

 

We also got some really cool CANVAS tags. I love anything canvas and these tags are perfect for summer
