FALL Cards

This is a sneak peak of one of the cards I made for fall.  I used Marks Paper Co. for my base pattern and Stampendous stamps and class-a-peels along with May Arts Ribbon of course.  I can't leave the ribbon off of anything.

Be on the look out for more card sneak peaks.  Now that the Holidays are approaching - its time to start making those cards.

Halloween Gate Fold Album

Been working on this Glimmer Glass Album by Tattered Angels.  The one I am using is the garden journal.  It is a really cool gate fold album with the clear "gates" in the front to make it extra spooky.  I used the new halloween glimmer mist colors, stamps and stencils.  I especially liked the jack o lantern mist and the pumpkin screens and stamps.  The spider in the sets really freaked me out because I hate spiders, but since it is a halloween album I felt it added the extra eek factor.

Here are a few of the pics.  For the cover of the album; I used a gold leaf pen along with the glimmer mist.

Nikki Sivils Guest Designer @ Paper Niche

Nikki Sivils was at the Paper Niche on Saturday 10/10 and we all had a blast with her.  She is the sweetest person, soft spoken and funny.  We all had lots of opportunity to take pictures with her and she signed some autographs for the class participants and customers that were there.


Nikki taught a really cute make-n-take and also an awesome class using her Victoria Street collection.  Everyone loved their adorable home mini album that they did with Nikki and were thrilled to be there.
 
I was lucky enough to spend some time with her - We went to the beach so Nikki could see our side of the states and then we went and had lunch together before going over to the Paper Niche.

Guest Designer Nikki Sivils @ Paper Niche

Whoo Hoo, can't wait to meet Nikki Sivils, she is so nice and funny.  Nikki will be at the Paper Niche on Saturday 10/10 to teach her "HOME" album with her Victoria Street Collection.  If you havent already made plans for Saturday come on by!!!

Scary Halloween

I just posted this Halloween Skull Album on ebay.  I used chipboard to shape the album, then I painted it black and sprayed glimmer mist on it.  It was fun to make, I tend to like the fall colors so I had a good time making this album.

Halloween Album

My little sister Idette is teaching this very embellished and awesome Halloween Mini Album at Cherry Blossom Studio.  If you live in the area you need to sign up quickly for this class because class size is limited.

NEW! Camper Shaped Chipboard Album

Just posted this Camper Album on ebay.  It turned out pretty cute, click the link to see more pages.  I drew the shape of the album and got the inspiration from a 3D embellishment.  I remember being "on the road" with my parents when I was much much younger, those are great memories and I will always cherish them.

There is nothing like being outdoors and enjoying the simple things, I wish though that I would have taken more pictures at the time.  It is so important to take photos because those times you spent with your family can never be replaced and when you get older .... your memory starts failing you (LOL).  So take lots of photos and remember the good times.

New Product to Try - If You Haven't Already

Tattered Angel's  glimmer mist.  You must try it!! It is a wonderfully versatile product and looks awesome on chipboard.

The Tattered Angels website has a great gallery and great demos for you.  It also has video by the owner wendy showing a demo on how to use the glimmer mist.

Tattered angels has some absolutely awesome designers - one of them is Michelle Van Etten.  She also teaches for Tattered Angels and she was in my neighborhood teaching last week at The Scrapbook Place.

SAND Castle Album

This is my latest project using the brand new MUDD PUDDLES and acrylic album from Clearscraps.  This very textured medium using sand really gives your work a unique look  I will be teaching this water/beach themed album at Scrapbook Place in October so be sure to check out her class schedule if you live in the area.

Home is Where Family Lives

Just posted my HOME album on ebay.  The album is loaded with embellishments and took a while to make.  The album would be great for pictures of a new home, or family pictures.  It would be great for holiday pictures too of family get togethers.

Nikki Sivils Tree Album Sneak Peek

I have been working on this cute mini album using Nikki Sivils 6x6 tree shaped chipboard album.  This album coordinates with her "My Sweet Cherry Pie" collection.

I also used the Hambly screen prints overlay "handing heliconias" on the acrylic bird and as dividers in the album.
