I gotta tell ya, this months Paper Niche kit ROCKS!!!  It was such an easy kit to use, thank you Gine for putting together such an awesome kit.  I didnt even have to think, all of a sudden I had finished 6 projects in 2 days!!  Yeah, I love it when you are so inspired by a kit that your creativity just flows easily ....

Ive Been A Busy Bee

So Ive been busy lately :) and my to do list is getting bigger LOL.  Have some projects on the burner this week to share with you...

The PFOP Design Team is having a challenge starting friday Jan. 28 throught Feb. 14th.  So be sure you stop by and check all the "sweet" designs that the girls are posting.

I am in the process of finishing up some cupcake sweetness and hoping to post it this weekend.  Also have a couple of other sweet goodies ready.  Here is a little peek.

I also have been very busy with the February Kit from the Paper Niche.  Why?  Because I made the design team!!!  whoot whoot, for me :)  They have amazing kits and I can't wait to share with you what I have been making with it, but.....  you have to wait till its my turn to reveal.  In the meantime go on over to the Paper Niche Blog to see the sneak peeks from the other girlies from the design team.

Copy Cat @ The Paper Niche

The Paper Niche has started a new program called copy cat.  There will be different layouts that were made with the latest papers that the Paper Niche has brought in.  There will also be kits made up of the sample shown so that if you like the layout you can "copy" it and purchase one easy kit with photos and directions. 

Here is my first sample layout for the "copy cat" series.  I used the new Spring Market papers from Websters.

Time Flies SWAP

I joined a swap over at "Life on the (Scrap) Beach" that my girlfriend Daphna was hosting.  The Challenge was to make a 4x4 double sided page on chipboard using the colors from the Color Combos Galore site.

Here is the color combo:  Color Combo Challenge #140

The theme was "Time Flies" you were allowed to use any patterned paper you liked as long as it had the above colors and you were challenged to stay within the theme.  So I decided to play along and especially since my girl friend Daphna was hosting and I know she does beautiful work.  Plus the girls over at Life on the (Scrap) Beach are also V E R Y talented.

So here is my take.

I added a ghost clock beneath the jewel and clock handle

the wing is a diecut that I distressed, inked and glittered

I left the embossed frame open on the side to slide in pictures

This side of the page has a transparency base

This side has a pocket for a tag and also has another tag that slip in on the side underneath the transparency base

I am planning on posting a you tube video later this week.  I am going to try and make a "talkie" its nerve racking for me :) but I will give it a shot.

January GD for Nikki Sivils

I am very excited and honored to be the Nikki Sivils GD for Jan.  I received the Sugar Cookie collection and I thought it perfect for a Valentine mini album.

Lots of layers and embellies on the cover

I took Nikki's chipboard paddie and adhered ribbon to the edges

Made lots of tags to go into the album

I used Nikki's "Will He Be The One" stamp set to stamp love tickets and hearts

I had a great time making this mini album.  And with the left over pieces I made some Valentine Cards

I used the Verve Stamp Jan sketch for this card

I used a I "heart" 2 stamp sketch

Goodies in the Mail from Nikki Sivils

I am so excited to be the Guest Designer for Nikki Sivils this month (whoot whoot).  I received my goodies in the mail for my project which will be revealed on Nikki's blog soon.  But I thought I would show you what I got :)  Yep, Sugar Cookie!!

I  finished with my project with this awesome collection and sent in the pics.  I can't wait till its revealed!!!

Copic Class Fun Fun Fun @ Paper Niche

I had a great day coloring and playing with my friends @ the Paper Niche.  I took the intermediate class with Sally Lynn Mac Donald and got to color to my hearts content.  I never grew up I have always loved sketching and coloring :)

Winter

Finished this cute envelope album using the BoBunny Midnight Frost collection.  This will be the first of 4 albums using BoBunny.  I will be teaching this SEASON'S Series Workshop at the Paper Niche.

Will post more pics later.  Be sure to check out the Paper Niche.  My class is scheduled for Feb. 5.  It will be an all day workshop so that you walk away with a complete finished album.

Season's Greetings PINK Album

I finished the last touches on my final Christmas Album for the year.  I already feel a little weepy ... after all the preparing, excitement, parties and anticipation of Christmas I always feel a little sad when the tree has to come down and the Holidays are past.  So I am putting away all my lovely Christmas embellishments and paper (boohoo) until next year.

Finished Another Christmas Album

Just finished what I think will be my last Christmas album for the year.  This album is a little out of my normal color scheme - its Pink!!  I usually do not scrap pink Christmas album but the paper was so cute that it inspired my inner pinkness.  The binding is canvas which I hand stitched.  Then the snow flake cover inspired me to sew buttons on the binding because I thought it would be cute.

I will be posting this album later tonight, but here is a sneak peek.  I will post more pictures later.

Shout Out to Create 365!!

Got back last night from my trip to Louisiana and the most wonderful and nicest ladies ever!!  Talk about your southern hospitality .... and dont even get me started on the amazing food.  I had the best time with all the girls at Create 365, thank you, thank you for being sooooooo welcoming.  You were all awesome.  I made friends with so many of you and I wish you all lived right next door so I could scrap with you all daily!!

I want to especially thank (sweet) Amy, you are amazing little girl and you are one talented lady!!  I loved everything you did and your store is so darn cute. 

Thank honey-bunny for welcoming me into your home and your heart.  I also want to thank Tasha for being my roomie LOL, I dont want you to feel left out!!

The thing that I dont like about traveling is that I cant take my organizer tote full of my tools!!  But I am sure Amy will let me borrow hers.  I am also bringing a winter project to work on while at the Christmas Crop!!  Cant wait to try some delicious pizza, no pig skin for me!! LOL.  I know that Amy and Suzy tried it but no thanks.
