Halloween Tags With Basically Bare

Its almost Halloween and I created 2 Halloween inspired tags.  My tags are featured today on the Basically Bare blog.  Let me know if what you think.

Simple Joys Mini Album

Well, I am on a roll .... I posted another one of my mini's on my Kitsnbitscraps Etsy Store. 

 

The front page of this mini is acrylic which comes with your "Simply Shapely" Basically Bare album.  I just took the binding apart and put the pages in the order I wanted.  I also cut he acrylic page in half and embossed through my sizzix Big Kick using a cuttlebug emobssing folder.

 

 

Here is a closer look at the acrylic cover.  I used the Basically Bare "Fanciful Frame Set" and embossed it with Stampendous embossing enamel.  I really love that look

 

 

I used some micro beads on some chipboard letters.  You really need to use white tacky glue or similiar to glue on the beads.  The reason is you need the glue to stay wet longer so you can push in the beads.

My "Life Memory" Mini is on Etsy

I have several other handmade items and some scrapbook supplies on my Etsy Shop too.  I am also working on a couple of Halloween albums and some Christmas albums.  I am just now getting back to scrapbooking.  I haven't really done anything the last 6 weeks and I really miss it.  I have been busy taking care of my hubby who got in a freak accident and thank you Lord he is doing so much better and on his way to recovery.

Boo Banner with Basically Bare

Hi Everyone!  Are we all getting ready for Halloween?  I am, I've already purchased my candy and there is still 1/2 bag left LOL.  I also made a banner for my front door that I would like to share with you.

Using Your Left Over Stash

New Album Monochromatic Shabby Vintage Style

So is Shabby Vintage an actual style?  I dont know but that is how I see myself.  I like the darker shades of vintage but I also like the distress, and softness of shabby.  Yes, I know I am weird but it's who I am LOL.

So I made this mini using Basically Bare's Plain Jane and also Tim Holtz Kraft Resist paper pad.  I also added a sprinkle of Glitz and Prima papers.  I used some awesome prima, glitz, Zva, Maya Road embellies and also made some of my own.  I will be teaching this class soon so keep a look out.

Out to Sea with Trinity Paper Arts

Well summer is almost gone though you wouldn't guess that if you lived in S. Florida.  We are still getting lots of sunshine and beach time.

Today I would like to share with you a beach tag I did for my post over at Scrap Street e-zine. There is always something going on over there with lots of inspiration and tutorials.

For this tag I used lots of Helmar Adhesives. I also used my favorite beach paper from Trinity Paper Arts; Surf N Swim.

The 450 Quick Dry is also great for adhering netting or mesh because it spreads thin, and dries clear. You also get some lead time to adjust your elements before it dries. Once the glue dries it adheres forever!
