Week for Challenges!

So this has been a week for challenges - twice in one week!

I am pretty much done with my challenge for PFOP design team ... will post pictures soon.   Then earlier in the week I was asked to do a layout with these papers -

I wasnt really given any parameters other than using these papers .... hmmmm.  So I accepted the challenge, now I have to think about what the heck am I going to do?   I thought maybe I would look around for a sketch, which actually is another challenge for me, because I have never used one.

So .... here I go stepping out of my comfort zone and will try to make something with a sketch :)  wish me luck!!

Be Mine 6x6 Chipboard Book

Well, its time to put away all my Valentine paper and goodies.  I already made my Valentine's and they are ready to go in the mail, and I have made a couple of extra projects.

I am almost finished with a layout for a challenge that I am in for the PFOP design team.  They are challenging us to do a layout inspired by a lyric.  I chose Elvis Presley's "Love Me Tender, Love Me Dear" song.  I thought it was appropriate for the month.  When I finish the layout I will post up my pics.

I also made this "Be Mine" Valentine 6x6 chipboard book will be posted on etsy today.  Here are some pics of that little book.  It turned out sweet.

I dont know if you can see the acrylic tag from Tim Holtz, I just love these tags and use them alot.  For more pictures of my little book click here for my Etsy shop.

Whew! Finished My Invitations

Just finished my invitations .... I am always so happy when I finish what I promised; especially if I finished ON TIME or ahead of TIME!!  I drew these cute bears and paper pieced them together.  I used my fabulouso Multi-liner Copic Marker and Y28 for shadows.  I also used Nikki Sivils Henry's Brillance for trim and stamped some little bear paws.  Now off it goes to the post office.

COPIC Certified Designer!!

I went last weekend to Sarasota, FL to get certified and trained on COPIC markers.  Whoo Hoo!!!  I am so excited to be able to teach this fabulous product and techniques and can't wait to buy more colors.  I went with Carol who owns the Scrappy Stamper in Miami and with Doyle who was a former rep for Debbie Gunion in the S. Florida territory; we also met up with Pat; rep for West Coast of FL and Sue who reps the North of Fl.  We had such a great time.

Sally MacDonald was a blast and a good teacher.  She is very informative and made us all laugh with her cute, and funny personality.  The class was from 9:00am until 4:00pm and we went through a lot of information, and the best part COLORING!  I just love my copics and have been practicing diligently.  You will be seeing alot of my stamped cards being colored with copics (LOL).

U R My Favorite

Have you purchased the Nikki Sivils Valentine paper line yet?  Its really cool and I love the pink and orange color combination.  I also love the journaling cards you get with the cut ups.  The crowns and froggie prince is cute too.

Here is the collection that I worked with to make a "I {Heart} You" album.

So of course I used all Nikki paper, then I added some Mark Richards Bling, May Arts Ribbon, some Stampendous glitter stickers, beautiful lace Hambly Screens, a touch of petaloo flowers and prima; and for the album I used the Clear Scraps Heart Shaped Acrylic ablum.  I also threw in some hand stitched hearts and beads.

Here are some pics :)
