Using Your Left Over Stash

I have a post up at Scrapstreet today, go check it out!  I talk about utilizing your stash and I give you 3 steps I usually take when making a mini album.

1.  Match Theme
2.  Use Base Color throughout Album
3.  Choose 2-3 colors besides base color only

I made this Halloween mini using my stash from several collections, some are:

Trinity Paper Arts
My Little Yellow Bicycle
My Minds Eye
May Arts
Prima

New Album Monochromatic Shabby Vintage Style

So is Shabby Vintage an actual style?  I dont know but that is how I see myself.  I like the darker shades of vintage but I also like the distress, and softness of shabby.  Yes, I know I am weird but it's who I am LOL.

So I made this mini using Basically Bare's Plain Jane and also Tim Holtz Kraft Resist paper pad.  I also added a sprinkle of Glitz and Prima papers.  I used some awesome prima, glitz, Zva, Maya Road embellies and also made some of my own.  I will be teaching this class soon so keep a look out.

I posted this new mini over at my Kitsnbits etsy shop, I have been busy making albums to post along with some scrappy supplies so please go on over and check out my store.

Thank you for stopping by and dont forget to go on over to my Etsy Store Kitsnbitscraps for this mini and more handmade items.

Blog Candy Time

Cooking Blog Candy Give Away #1

I thought it was about time I gave away a little blog candy!  I have been trying to clean up my messy scrap room (trying..) and I decided this was a good time to give away some scrap goodies.
I recently added several scrapbook supplies and handmade items to my Etsy Store - Kitsnbitscraps - and I would love it if you please go by and take a looksie.  To give you a bit of an incentive I am giving away this blog candy that is "cooking" themed.

I thought that the Holidays are going to be here before you know it and it will be cookie making time.  So I am helping you along with some "cookin" papers, embellishments and stamps to remember the good times.

Out to Sea with Trinity Paper Arts

Well summer is almost gone though you wouldn't guess that if you lived in S. Florida.  We are still getting lots of sunshine and beach time.

Today I would like to share with you a beach tag I did for my post over at Scrap Street e-zine. There is always something going on over there with lots of inspiration and tutorials.

For this tag I used lots of Helmar Adhesives. I also used my favorite beach paper from Trinity Paper Arts; Surf N Swim.

The 450 Quick Dry is also great for adhering netting or mesh because it spreads thin, and dries clear. You also get some lead time to adjust your elements before it dries. Once the glue dries it adheres forever!

Enjoy the rest of your sunny summer days! Happy Scrapping!

Product Used:
Helmar 450 Quick Dry
Helmar Quick-fix adhesive runner

My Tags are featured over at Basically Bare

I want to share with you some tags I made for the Basically Bare Design Team.  Go check them out!  I really loved the way they turned out and guess what?  They look alot harder to make than they really were!

I used the new Hats and Staches chipboard embellies from Basically Bare.  They were already black so all I had to do was emboss them with some WOW embossing powder then spray some glimmer mist on them and voila!

I would love it if you went on over to Basically Bare and left me some love :)

Thank you for stopping by and happy scrapping!
