Helmar Adhesives - Making Birthday Cards

It's my turn over at the Helmar blog today.  These cards are being featured along with the process of supplies, instructions and tips to make these cards.  So please go on over to the Helmar blog today.

These two cards were made with the same design in mind.  I slightly altered the second "Happy Birthday" card with size and added more pennants.

To follow the instructions to make these cards please go to the Helmar card I went through the process for the smaller "Celebrate" card.  For this yellow "Happy Birthday" card I used yellow Bazzill cardstock and changed the color and pattern of the ribbons.

I also changed the Sizzix embossed folder pattern to dots.  I added some patterned paper and made this card 5x7.

I used three Helmar Adhesives.  One of my favorites is the 450 Quick Dry Adhesive

I also used the Helmar Scrap Dots to adhere my ribbon bow to my card

Lastly, I used the Helmar Zap Dots 3D white round

Here is the small white "Celebrate" card which I made first

Hope you enjoyed my card making today.  When making cards and you already have all your supplies out, you might as well make several.  It takes just as much effort to make one card than it does to make two or three.  Use the same design for all so as not to reinvent the wheel.  All you need to do is alter your cards with size, color or added embellishments.

Thank you for stopping by ...

Inspired by Finnabair Prima Marketing Clock

Hi, I have been seeing this clock all over FB and have been wanting to make one of these for my daughter for sometime.  Finally my girl friends and I got together and I was able to make this clock.

Have to tell you I am loving Anna Dabrowska's Art Basics products and also the paint and mica powders line.  I have been a fan of Finnabair and Prima Marketing for years.

Hope you enjoy my Anna Dabrowska inspired clock.

My daughter's living room has blue and green as her color scheme so I made this for her as a house warming present since she just moved.

Thank you for stopping by, happy scrapping ...

Bookmark with Helmar

Hi Everyone, today my Mother's Day Gift (Bookmark) is being featured over at the Helmar Blog so please go on over for more photos and process.

My family and I are avid readers so I wanted to make a cute bookmark for my daughter.   This particular bookmark is for my daughter's Midori Bullet journals.

I used Helmar's Fabric glue on the felt, beads and buttons knowing that it's great for adhering.  I also used the Helmar Silicon Sealant for gluing the felt flower arrangement to my 7 Gypsies rubber band.

This was an easy and fun project and I plan on making more bookmarks.  You can also go to a fabric store and buy some elastic instead of using a rubber band.

Thank you for stopping by and please go by the Helmar blog and check out my featured Mother's Day Gift Bookmark.

Happy Scrapping ...
