Just wanted to say thank you to the Nikki Sivils DT leader Susan and Nikki too for asking me to be a guest designer.  Pretty cool, and I am certaintly jazzed about it.  I love working with Nikki's product and especially love her Willow Bee collection.

Cards

I wanted to post the cards that I made with the My Paper Treehouse June Kit.  There was so much Jillibean Soup in the kit and I loved all the patterns.  I still have product left over from the kit even after making 6 pages and 2 cards, so I definately will be making some more cards with what I have left.

This card I used as a sample for a challenge over at My Paper Treehouse, so go on over there and play along with us.  The challenge is a recipe and all entries are to be in by saturday.  The winner will be announced on Sunday and they will win some rub-ons and a bottle of stickles.

My Paper Treehouse JUNE KIT DEBUT is finally here!!!

I have been so excited about this new venture and it has taken sooooo much will power to keep it secret until now.  Wow, I was getting ready to explode; so happy that I finally get to show you what I have done with this fabulous kit.  You get so many goodies.  My favorite was the corrugated letters from Jillibean and also the packages from prima.  I LOVE the branch with the pretty bird. 

Also what I think is pretty cool about this kit is that $5 dollars out of every June kit will be donated to the Save The Children Foundation. Check out their site here.  You also get a discount on the kits if you pre-sign up for the monthly kit and I know that the kits are already selling out pretty fast so hurry on over to My Paper Treehouse and dont miss out on getting yours!! 

As a bonus to the kit, our awesome Suzy West has made a beautiful album with the kit and you can sign up for the "Designer Add-on" and get instructions and the goodies to make her album.  Cool right?

Now, I get to post what I have done with my kit.  I will post more of my pictures on My Paper Treehouse later today.  All the designers are scheduled to post their work throughout the day on the site so be sure to come on over and see what everyone has done. 

I love these colors and working with the owl and branch.

Here is another layout I did with this kit.  All in all I did 6 pages and 2 cards and still had products left over.  How fun is that right?

I used white paint on this one and added a touch of red.
