Friendship Cards

I had some product left over from the WeRMemory - Vintage Blue collection so I made some cards.  I really fell in love with this collection.  It has everything that I like, birds, nature, the colors blue, green and orange.  So of course I love it.

After seeing my "Dreamer" album Scrapbooks N Stuff in Miami wants me to do a class with the collection.  Though I will not be making it 22 pages (LOL, I would be there two days!).  I will do a paper bag book though just not as many pages and it will definately be the Vintage Blue collection :) ... more on that later.

Ok, so here are my cards - I just love the colors!! 

DREAMER

Wow, usually I am a pretty fast scrapper but this album took me over a week to create!!  I just kept adding on and adding on :)  I had fun making it though, even though it took a long time ... talk about a OOAK, I will definately not be recreating this one.  This was made with paper bags, chipboard covers and canvas binding.  I use to make tons of paper bag albums, but then I got bored.  I always come back around eventually though.  Like five years ago all my layouts had fabric sewn on to my pages, then I of course (if you knew me, you know I usually dont repeat my work) I got bored.  Well I am using fabric on my layouts and albums again.

Anywho, its really gloomy here in "sunny florida" so my pics are not as good as I would like so I only took a couple.  I try and take more and hopefully better pictures when the weather is better.

I used so much product on this album - the list is very extensive but some of the product I used was WeRMemory Keepers, Mark Richards, Chatterbox (boo hoo they are gone), Ranger.

Bee Happy

Oh, how sweet is this cute bee bear?  I love him, I used the pattern from My Scrap Chick :)  the other little bee you see there is a stamp from Willow Bee, check out the Niki Sivils collection for more VERY CUTE papers.

Under The Sea

Boy am I busy creating classes!   Remember when I made this months ago using Scrap Within Reach cottage collection ....

Well I finally got around to making a two page layout (I always do two-page layouts) to teach a class in March.  Here is a sneak peak of the class that I will be teaching at the Paper Niche.

HIPPITY HOPPITY - Easter is around the corner

I am back to teaching classes after a mini break during the holidays.  I have several classes scheduled in March.  Here is a class that I am teaching in Miami using the new WeR Memory Keepers Hippity Hoppity collection.

I used the above papers from the collection and added some paper piecings. So check back to see when this class will be schedule in March !

I still have to add some finishing touches on the LO, but thought I would share for now.

Sneak Peek - Embellish It!

Here is a sneek peek of what I did with this  .........

and made it into this little sneekie peekie.  The whole concept was to keep embellishing.  You can stack, layer, sew, ink, spray, crunch etc.

  

I AM THRILLED!!

So guess what?  My mini tree album that I taught over at the Paper Niche was featured in the new Winter 2010 Nikki Sivils product catalog!!  whoo hoo, I feel very honored :) yep, and very happy about it too :)

I thought it was so nice of Nikki and Co. to choose my tree album.  I of course used Nikki's "paddies" and her collection of "My Sweet Cherry Pie."  .... just had to share, yeah for me!!

PFOP Design Team Challenge

We were challenged to come up with a project, whether album, altered piece or layout based on our interpretation of a song.  I chose "Love Me Tender" by Elvis Presley. 

I thought it would be a perfect song for February since it is a time for love.  I did this layout with Daisy Bucket paper, lots of hand made flowers, felt hearts, and bling from Mark Richards. 

I also distressed my edges then inked them using Tsukineko. I then made some chipboard embellies by painting them, then added Ranger's glossy accents.
