I am playing with my kit today so I am very excited about that. I love playing with new paper, yummy. So I know that I am making another album, and the only hint that I am giving is that it is shaped like an image I see in the above pic. Can you guess what it is?

My Paper Tree House with Echo Park AUGUST KIT
Whoo Hoo, finished my album!! I decided to make an album for my little girl who is not so little anymore (boo hoo). I used my MPTH kit from August which was filled with so much cuteness from Echo Park "Life Is Good" collection.
I started off by looking through my boxes of photos (yes, I did say unorganized BOXES) and picked out some really cute pics of my daughter Vanessa. Well my photos are not dated or for that matter organized but I do remember how my angel pie was at that age. I decided therefore to make an album for her with random photos and my memories of her personality.
One of these days I will organize my boxes of photos chronologically, but for right now I am too busy scrapbooking LOL. Any who there are all sorts of ways you can scrapbook; such as chronologically, by theme such as vacation, or holiday. Or in my case by feelings and little snippet's of memory. That is how I did my Vanessa album. Random photos with snippet's of memory when I took the photos and its mostly about Vanessa's character rather than events.
If you want to see more pages of my album go on over to MY PAPER TREE HOUSE BLOG and see what I posted there. Also why dont you become of FAN OF MY PAPER TREE HOUSE, then you can keep up with the latest and greatest of the monthly kits and what the gang is doing, and also our guest designer for the month Michelle Lanning.

THINGS I LOVE ABOUT YOU
I covered the album cover with the fabric I received in my kit along with some of the pattern paper |
Vanessa has such a beautiful smile that you can't help but smile back |
I loved using the tiny alphabet that I received with my kit. |
The kit has a full sheet of journal blocks and titles. Makes it easy to use |
I added a "floating matte" so that I could slip in a journal tag behind my photo |
The kit comes with a full sticker sheet with cutie patootie embellies and borders to add to your pages |
I made this pink rose bud out of t-shirt material |

Summer's Last Days
Well summer is ending, even here in Florida where the sun always shines. We are taking our last Bonita beach weekend trip so I thought I would leave you with this layout.
I used glimmer mist on the background cardstock then I went over it with white paint (I love using paint). The collection is from Harmonie "Pacifique" I also used FOR THE FIRST TIME, a page map from Becky Fleck!! I saw the page map on Harmonie's blog so thought I would try it.
If we are lucky we will have another Dolphin encounter :O) that would be so awesome, I would love to get more pictures of the dolphins!!
Harmonie has its own textured cardstock |
I used their peel off sticker and put glitter right on the page |
Harmonie has great wood embellishments, I used their alphabet |

Spooky Halloween Skeleton
I recently bought some more TH crackle paint because it seems I go through that like water. Anywho I am still in the Halloween frame of mind so I thought I would use my fresh bottle of crackle paint .................
Spooky Cuteness |
so the first thing i did was paint the chipboard, then I applied my crackle paint. After it was dry i went ahead and bent the chipboard so I would get EVEN MORE cracks! Then I added some glimmer mist and with my spica pen outlined some extra cracks. I decided to add another layer of crackle paint, finished it off with some more glimmer mist ............. then I painted the "teeth" with metallic sliver and added some jewel teeth.
Lots of ribbon and embellies |
I embellished the skull and bones album with lots of LYB, may arts ribbon and some my minds eye sprinkled in. If you are interested in looking at some more of the pages click HERE.
Very Chunky |
Let me know what you think :) I love comments

Sunsets, Sand, and FUN
I had a fantastic Labor Day weekend!! Hubby and I went to Bonita Beach (west coast of FL) with our friends and had such an awesome time. Thank you Jeff and Val for inviting us. We had great weather and I got a tan even though I sat under an umbrella the whole time LOL.

BOO
Here is another album I started at SDV in Orlando and just put some finishing touches on it. The album is 4x9 and turned out very chunky. I love chunky, even when I dont try to make it chunky it turns out that way LOL
BOO Halloween Album
If you are interested in purchasing the album, I just posted it.
Let me know what you think, I am getting ready to pack and leave for the West coast of Florida, even though I already know it will probably rain all weekend because of Earl (the hurricane).
BOO Halloween Album
I used a cool chipboard shape from LYB. The pumkin measures almost 6x6. I like it 'cause it was big. I sanded the surface to make it more spooky. I also added an acrylic tag and pin from TH and a cute charm.
The Album has 14 pages including the covers.
I added extra pockets and tags that I embellished with glimmer mist, stamps and cute pattern paper.

Look What I Made while at SDV
I know it might be a little early for Christmas ..... but I have to live up to my reputation of getting all my Christmas cards and presents out early. My mom-in-law Jean is always teasing me about this LOL.
10 Things I love
10 Things I love
Isn't that a cute little dollie tied to the binding? I had to buy it to add to my album.
The idea of this album was to have 10 journaling tabs for the 10 things you love to title/journal each page.
I posted the album for sale, so if you are interested or want to see more pics .... click HERE
